Picture
Legacy – The Art of Na Omi Shintani
Na Omi Shintani’s extensive creative abilities encompass a broad range of artistic disciplines with one common focus: people’s inhumanity toward each other. From the Japanese internment camps in the early 1940s to the continuous hostilities toward refugees from around the world, Na Omi shines a light on these local as well as global atrocities. The premiere of this film marks the unofficial start of May’s Asian / Pacific American Heritage Month.
